Australian cricketer David Warner and former Australian fast bowler Mitchell Johnson have fired back at each other’s criticism.

According to media reports, former fast bowler Mitchell Johnson had criticized David Warner in a column, questioning his retirement and fair play.
Mitchell Johnson had questioned why a cricketer involved in a historic ball-tampering scandal is being given fair play according to his wishes.

After the release of this column, former fast bowler Mitchell Johnson was also removed from the commentary panel for the series between Australia and Pakistan.

Responding to this criticism, David Warner said that former teammates have the right to their opinion, this season will not go headlined. We are waiting for the first test match of the season in Perth.

In a TV program, Australia captain Pat Cummins also expressed his views on the issue, saying, “In my opinion, we all care about each other a lot. We have been playing together with David Warner and Steve Smith for 12 years.”

It should be noted that the first match of the series of three test matches between Pakistan and Australia will start in Perth from December 14th.
