The value of the dollar has increased by 2 paisa in the open market compared to the interbank market where it decreased by 15 paisa at the end of the business week. According to the Forex Association of Pakistan’s report, in the interbank market on Friday, the value of the dollar decreased by 15 paisa to 278.40 rupees from 278.55 rupees. On the other hand, in the open market, the value of the dollar increased by 2 paisa to 279.68 rupees from 279.66 rupees. Additionally, the report mentioned that the value of the euro decreased by 65 paisa to 295.60 rupees from 296.25 rupees, while the British pound decreased by 1.11 rupees to 345.38 rupees from 346.49 rupees.
