The city of Karachi and surrounding areas are experiencing mainly hot and humid weather, with the exception of Karachi division and some districts in the province, where windy conditions prevail. The affected areas include Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, Tharparker, Umerkot, Mirpur Khas, Sanghar, Hyderabad, Matyari, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, and parts of Jamshoro districts.
In addition to the windy weather, there is a possibility of drizzle in Karachi, Badin, Thatta, Sujawal, and Tharparker districts, as well as along the coast. According to the Meteorological Office, the winds are currently blowing from the southeastern direction at a speed of 12 to 16 nautical miles. There is a chance of light rainfall or drizzle in Karachi during the nighttime.
The weather is expected to remain cloudy in the city and outskirts throughout the month of August. However, the possibility of heavy rainfall or a significant rainy system entering the region is low. The Meteorological Office predicts a wet spell in the last week of August.
As of today, the temperature in the city is 29 degrees Celsius, with a minimum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius, according to the weather report.
