Inspired by the resilience of Palestinians and their pledge for Al-Quds during the Israeli aggression in Gaza Strip, US internet comic artist and independent fashion designer Nefertari Moonn converted to Islam. Speaking to a Turkish news agency, Moonn credited the courage and faith of the Palestinian people for leading her to Islam. She described the devastation in Gaza as “devastatingly beautiful” and admired the strength and resilience of the Palestinians. Moonn emphasized that the Palestinians’ ability to maintain their faith, despite the hardships they face, was a major factor in her decision to convert to Islam. She also expressed her admiration for the Palestinian people and called on them to know that the whole world is fighting for them. In a similar instance, US TikToker Megan Rice converted to Islam after witnessing the commitment of Palestinians. Additionally, Dua Lipa, a popstar of Muslim descent, has called on world leaders to take a stand on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and urged for an immediate ceasefire.
