Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Organiser of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, stated that no members left the party during its crisis, reported by ARY News.
According to reports, independent candidate Muhammad Waseem from NA-119 met with Maryam Nawaz and announced his withdrawal from the General Elections 2024 in her favor.
Muhammad Waseem also declared his decision to join the PML-N along with his colleagues. Maryam Nawaz, who is also running for the election from NA-119, congratulated Muhammad Waseem and mentioned that he has joined the ‘development’ caravan.
She expressed that the entire country suffered from 2018 to 2022 due to the incompetence of the previous government. The PML-N Chief Organiser stated that her party is working on an agenda to serve the people for the next five years.
Maryam Nawaz urged the people to support Nawaz Sharif in alleviating the issues of inflation and others. She mentioned that Pakistan was thriving during Nawaz Sharif’s reign but the progress was interrupted.
“The whole world gives examples of progress and development Pakistan had under Nawaz Sharif,” she added.
Earlier on 16th January, Maryam Nawaz pledged to revive development projects in Lahore once in power. She made this commitment while attending a public rally in PP-159 Gajomata, from where she is contesting the election.
She assured that the paused development projects after the removal of Nawaz Sharif from power would be restarted. Maryam Nawaz also urged the public not to vote for those who halted the development process.
