Islamabad: Election Commission has once again made changes in the election schedule.
According to the announcement issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan, the scrutiny of candidates standing for specific seats will now be held until January 13 instead of December 30 and the tribunals can decide on objections until January 20.
Candidates can withdraw their nomination papers until January 22 after which the final list will be issued on January 23.
According to the announcement, changes have been made in the schedule of specific seats in light of recent decisions of the Peshawar High Court, which will not affect general elections.
