Additionally, the GB home department confirmed the imposition of Section 144 across the region to ensure law and order, protect lives and property, and prevent any untoward incidents.
It was recently reported that 4G broadband services have been suspended in the area, while 2G services remain operational.
According to sources, internet services have been temporarily suspended in accordance with the recommendation of the provincial administration and orders from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
A list of individuals involved in spreading hate and inciting violence has been compiled, and appropriate actions will be taken against them, including arrests, to curb the propagation of hatred, the sources added.
