Karachi: Former Provincial Minister of Sindh Shargil Inaam Memom has appealed to the government to take measures to bring the buses parked at the port onto the roads.
In a statement, Shargil Memom said that buses imported from foreign countries for Karachi and other cities in Sindh are parked at the port, and appealed to the government to take action to bring these parked buses onto the roads.
He said that the buses purchased by the Sindh government of the Pakistan Peoples Party have been parked at the port for months, and these buses should be immediately brought onto the roads for the benefit of the general public.
Shargil Memom said that bringing the buses onto the roads will allow the public to benefit from affordable and better quality buses.
