Islamabad: A girl lost her life while 19 children and two teachers were injured when a school van fell into a ravine near Shahdara Picnic Point. According to the police, the incident occurred during a picnic trip of the school children, prompting a heavy deployment of police and rescue teams to the scene.
The injured were shifted to PIMS Hospital for medical treatment. The girl who lost her life was identified as Hania, 18 years old. The injured children, aged 9 to 12, were also taken to the hospital for treatment. One of the children, Mahsam, is in critical condition and has been transferred to Benazir Bhutto Hospital.
