Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Sartaj Aziz has passed away. Secretary General of PML (N), Ahsan Iqbal, confirmed his death in a statement on the social media website X. He described Sartaj Aziz as a great asset to the nation and emphasized that his services will always be remembered. Ahsan Iqbal also expressed his honor of working closely with Sartaj Aziz and stated that he will never forget his guidance and love. Sartaj Aziz served as the Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs in the PML (N) government formed in 2013 and also served as the Minister of Finance in the 1990s.
