Islamabad: Preparations for Eid ul-Fitr are in full swing across the country, and a meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has been scheduled for Tuesday (April 9) to sight the moon of Shawwal.
The meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be chaired by Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad at the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Islamabad, where testimonies for the sighting of the Shawwal moon will be received.
The meeting will include members of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee and officials from the departments of Meteorology, Space, Science, and Technology.
Similarly, meetings of the Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will also be held in their respective locations, but the Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, will announce the sighting or non-sighting of the Shawwal moon.
