They also addressed the increasing trade and defence ties between their countries, as well as their efforts to phase out trade in US dollars.
In addition, Putin and Xi talked about the situation in Ukraine, conflict resolution in the Middle East, and reaffirmed their strategic collaboration. They also emphasized the importance of defending their countries’ sovereignty, security, and development interests, as well as opposing interference in their internal affairs by external forces.
Overall, the leaders of Russia and China highlighted their commitment to working together and maintaining close personal interaction, although there were no immediate plans for reciprocal visits.
