Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has formed a 10-member apex committee for important decisions, while a 14-member political committee for political matters has been established, including Sher Afzal Marwat.
According to sources, the PTI apex committee has been formed on the directive of party chairman Imran Khan, who will be responsible for making important decisions. The apex committee will consist of 10 members, including Barrister Gohar, Ali Amin Gandapur, Hammad Azhar, Khalid Khursheed, Hafiz Farhat, Umar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, Asad Qaiser, with other names currently under consideration. A formal notification regarding the formation of the PTI apex committee will also be issued.
It is said that even after the arrest of PTI founder chairman Imran Khan, the apex committee was formed, led by Shah Mahmood Qureshi, and after his arrest, the apex committee was replaced with a steering committee.
The PTI apex committee is being prepared once again. Awn Abbas BPA will also be part of the apex committee, while consideration is being given to including Sher Afzal Marwat in the committee.
Additionally, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has formed a 14-member political committee under the leadership of Barrister Umar Ayub. The other members of the committee include Barrister Gohar, Shibli Faraz, Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, Asad Qaiser, Shah Farman, Khalid Khursheed Shah (former Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan), Senator Awn BPA, Rauf Hassan, Hammad Azhar, Atif Khan, Mian Islam Iqbal, Hafiz Farhat, and Sher Afzal Marwat.
