Lahore: In the ninth match of the HBL Pakistan Super League season 9, Karachi Kings won the toss against Lahore Qalandars and decided to bowl first.
The match being played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Karachi Kings’ captain Shaan Masood won the toss and chose to bowl first.
Shaan Masood, the captain of Karachi Kings, stated that he is satisfied with their performance so far and they are continuing with the same strategy on the field. He hopes that all the players will show the same level of performance as they did in the previous match.
Lahore Qalandars’ captain Shahid Afridi mentioned that their batting and bowling have been good so far, but they are facing issues in the fielding department. Haris Rauf has not performed up to the mark yet, but they are hopeful for his comeback along with Tamim Iqbal.
West Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Shai Hope is also part of Lahore Qalandars for today’s match. He was unable to participate in the initial three matches due to playing in the BPL.
Lahore Qalandars have played three matches in the event so far and have faced defeat in all three, while Karachi Kings have played two matches, with one loss and one win.
