In Karachi, Pakistan Petroleum Company has reported an increase in production from multiple gas and crude oil wells in Sindh and Balochistan.
According to a statement issued by the company, the production has been increased through various techniques from the gas and oil wells. During the period from October 2023 to March 2024, the daily production of gas increased by 17 MMSCFD and the daily production of crude oil increased by 530 MMSCFD through the use of different technical skills and technologies.
There was also an increase of 450 barrels per day in crude oil production from the Half Field, and a 5 MMSCFD increase in gas production from the Hala Block Adhi Field.
Additionally, there was a 7 MMSCFD increase in gas production from the Sui Gas Field, and an increase of 5 MMSCFD in gas production and 80 barrels per day in crude oil production from the Gambat South Field.
