A blast on Warsak Road in Peshawar injured at least three children and an adult. The police and rescue teams responded to the incident near Peshawar Public School and moved the injured children to a private hospital. The blast, caused by four kilograms of explosives in a cemented block on the side of the road, has led to the area being cordoned off for further investigation.

The attack, which targeted school children, has been condemned by caretaker KP Chief Minister Justice (retd) Arshad Hussain Shah and ANP provincial president Aimal Wali Khan. The uptick in terrorist activities in Pakistan, particularly in KP and Balochistan, has led to concerns as the country heads towards general elections.

The situation is still developing and initial reports may not be entirely accurate. Efforts will be made to report on the situation with timeliness and accuracy based on credible sources and staff reporters.
