A lot of political activity took place in Lahore as the PML-N met with the PPP and MQM-P. They discussed the election results and the post-election situation. The two parties agreed on political cooperation and will be presenting proposals to their Central Executive Committee. Then, the MQM-P also met with the PML-N and a “principle agreement” was reached to work together in the interest of the country and the public. The stability of democracy was emphasized as more important than anything else. There are also plans for another round of talks between the PML-N and MQM-P.
