PML-N gains another independent candidate

In the General Elections 2024, an independent candidate who won a seat in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly announced his decision to join the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). Malik Tariq Awan, who secured victory from PK-82 (Peshawar) with 20334 votes, made the announcement during a meeting with PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore, where PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president Ameer Muqam was also present. Additionally, six more independent candidates who won in the General Elections 2024, including MNA-elect from NA-92 Rasheed Akbar Noorani and five newly elected members of the Punjab Assembly, announced their decision to join the PML-N in a meeting with PML-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz.
