Pakistan Railways to reinstate two passenger trains

The Divisional Superintendent Quetta Muhammad Yousuf Leghari announced that the trains Bolan Mail and Akbar Bugti Express, which link Quetta with Karachi and Lahore respectively, will be restored as per the directives of the caretaker government and PR authorities. The Bolan Mail will resume operations on 25th December 2023, while the Akbar Bugti Express will be restored in March 2024. These trains will facilitate travel between Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan. The Bolan Mail will have 12 coaches with dining car and bedding facilities, clean blankets, pillows, and standard food for passengers. Additionally, the Pakistan Railways has reconstructed the Sibi-Harnai section and is planning to run freight trains in order to boost the economy of the province.
