The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that Pakistan has been elected as the Vice Chair of the UNESCO Executive Board for the Asia Pacific Group for the years 2023-2025. The Ministry expressed gratitude to all the countries that voted and supported Pakistan’s election. Pakistan will continue to cooperate with multilateral organizations for the promotion of UNESCO’s values and principles.
