Lahore: The Pakistan Muslim League (N) has announced candidates for national and provincial assembly seats in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, and other districts.

According to details, PML-N has announced candidates for national and provincial assembly seats in the Rawalpindi division. Tickets have been issued to Sheikh Aftab Ahmad from NA-49, Malik Sohail Khan from NA-50, Raja Osama Sarwar from NA-51, Raja Javed Ikhlas from NA-52, Raja Qamar-ul-Islam from NA-53, Malik Abrar from NA-55, Haneef Abbasi from NA-56, Daniyal Chaudhry from NA-57, and retired Major Tahir Iqbal from NA-58. Sardar Ghulam Abbas has been given the ticket from NA-59 in Tehsil Gang.

The decision for tickets in NA-54 Rawalpindi and NA-60 Jhelum has not been made yet. PML-N has also issued tickets for the provincial assembly seats in Rawalpindi.

Jahangir Khanzada is the candidate from PP-1 Attock, Iftikhar Ahmed Khan from PP-2, Hamid Akbar from PP-3, Sher Ali Khan from PP-4, and Malik Ataullah Khan from PP-5. Bilal Yameen Satti is the candidate from PP-6 in Rawalpindi, Raja Saghir Ahmed from PP-7, Iftikhar Ahmed from PP-8, Raja Shaukat Aziz Bhatti from PP-9, Chaudhry Naeem Ijaz from PP-10, and Imran Ilyas Chaudhry from PP-11. From PP-14, Malik Iftikhar Ahmed and from PP-15, Malik Mansoor Afsar have been given tickets.

For the national assembly seats, Zia-ul-Haq Shah has been given the ticket from PP-16, Raja Hanif from PP-17, Raja Sajjad Khan from PP-18, Haji Parvez Khan from PP-19, Malik Omar Farooq from PP-13, Sultan Haider Ali Khan from PP-20, Tanveer Islam Malik from PP-21, and Shehryar Malik from PP-23.

In PP-25 Chakwal, the ticket has been given to Chaudhry Nadeem Khadim, and in PP-26, it has been given to Naseer Mahmood Allah.

PML-N has also not made a decision on the party tickets for NA-54 Rawalpindi, NA-60 and NA-61 Jhelum, PP-12 Chakwal, PP-22 Tala Gang, Chakwal, and PP-24 Jhelum. It is said that they want to field Ghulam Sarwar Khan’s son in the NA-54 seat, and due to consultations with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, a candidate has not been issued a ticket for this seat.

It has not been decided yet for PP-12 Taxila, and efforts are being made to field Ghulam Sarwar’s son in this constituency as well. PML-N has given tickets to Chaudhry Farukh Altaf for NA-61, and in NA-65, Maulana Mehdi is a strong candidate for the ticket. In PP-24, Bilal Azhar Kiani and the former MNA Ovais Khalid are hopefuls for the PML-N ticket, and negotiations with the Pak’s stability party are ongoing for this seat as well.

Similarly, Raja Yawar Kamal, who left the PTI to join the Pak Stability Movement, is also in talks with the PPP. Sardar Mansoor Taman, a former member of the National Assembly, can be a candidate for the PML-N ticket in PP-22, while the ticket for PP-25 has been issued to Nadeem Khadim.

PML-N has issued tickets to Chaudhry Abid Raza for NA-62, Ghazafar Ali Gill for NA-63, Chaudhry Nasir Ahmed Sidhu for NA-65, Chaudhry Nasar Cheema for NA-66, Saira Afzal Tarar for NA-67, Mashhad Raza for NA-68, Naseer Iqbal Bosal for NA-69, Chaudhry Armaghan Sabhani for NA-70, Khawaja Muhammad Asif for NA-71, Ali Zahid for NA-72, Noshin Iftikhar for NA-73, and Rana Shamim Ahmed Khan for NA-74.

For NA-75, Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq, for NA-76, Ahsan Iqbal, for NA-77, Chaudhry Bashir Work, for NA-78, Khurram Dastagir, for NA-79, Zulfiqar Bhinder, for NA-80, Shahid Aslam, and for NA-81, Azhar Qayyum Nahir, have successfully secured PML-N tickets.

From the Narowal constituency, the ticket has not been issued to Daniel Aziz, and from Gujrat, Chaudhry Jafar Iqbal has not been given a ticket. In a private TV interview, Daniel Aziz announced that, in light of not receiving the party’s ticket, he will run opposition elections against the PML-N candidate.
