Malahim Department Employees in Sindh Began Distributing Fake Transfer Orders

Karachi: The employees of the Education Department have uncovered a fraud of Rs. 120 million through fake appointments.
The Anti-Corruption Department has become active to catch the group involved in the fake appointments and has sought help from the CTD in this regard. According to documents received by Express News, the suspects have committed fraud of Rs. 120 million through fake appointments.
The Anti-Corruption Department has sent a letter to the CTD DIG Sindh, in which the suspects are accused of receiving money through fake documents and deception.
It was stated in the letter that further investigations cannot proceed without the arrest of the suspects, so CTD should assist in their arrest. The suspects, identified in the letter, are Muhammad Khan Brahamani, Muhammad Iqbal Arafani, Salim Arafani, and Naeem Akhtar, who are employees in the Sindh Education Department.
According to the documents, the suspects received millions of rupees by submitting fake appointment letters, Accountant General Sindh’s letter, and fake cards. The Anti-Corruption Department had also sent a letter to the Education Department and requested detailed information about the suspects’ appointments.
