Lahore Qalandars target 196 runs to win against Islamabad United

In the first match of the HBL PSL season 9, Lahore Qalandars achieved a target of 196 runs against Islamabad United.
In the opening match being played at Qaddafi Stadium, Islamabad United’s captain Shadab Khan won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Lahore Qalandars, batting first, scored 195 runs at a loss of 5 wickets in the designated 20 overs. Rassie van der Dussen remained not out with 71 runs, while Prince Farhan played an aggressive innings of 57 runs.
Lahore Qalandars’ openers Prince Farhan and Fakhar Zaman provided the team with a start of 63 runs while batting first. Prince Farhan scored 57 runs with eight boundaries and one six in 36 balls. Fakhar Zaman made 13 and Abdullah Shafique made 28 runs before being out.
From the Islamabad United side, Timil Mills took 2 wickets, while Shadab Khan and Naseem Shah took one wicket each.
