Security footage shows 7-year-old Abhan in Karachi with murderer Sufyan captured on CCTV

The 15-year-old murderer Sufyan was captured on CCTV footage holding the hand of Abhan as they made their way through alleys towards the crime scene behind the hospital in the FB area. Both Sufyan and Abhan were seen entering the park in the footage. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Central, Zeshan Shafiq Siddiqui, confirmed that the footage matched Sufyan’s confession. Sufyan, who was a suspect from the beginning, was difficult to apprehend due to being a family member, but upon the release of CCTV footage, he was investigated and confessed to the murder. Sufyan admitted to using a vegetable knife to kill Abaan, which was later recovered from the victim’s house. The police have arrested Sufyan and further investigation is underway. The murder case involving seven-year-old Abhan Mazhar has been resolved, and his cousin Sufyan has been arrested for the crime. According to SSP Central Zeeshan Siddiqui, Sufyan confessed to killing Abhan and cited the reason as the victim making complaints to his father. Sufyan claimed that he killed Abhan at Dhobi Ghat with a house knife and disposed of the body in the bushes behind the Cardio hospital.
