The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) backed independent candidate Khurram Sher Zaman has been defeated in the general election 2024 for Karachi’s National Assembly constituency (NA-241), as per ARY News.
Unofficial results from all polling stations of NA-241 Karachi indicate that the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) candidate Mirza Ikhtiar Baig secured the seat with 52,456 votes, leading by 3,846 votes against PTI-backed independent candidate Khurram Sher Zaman, who obtained the second position with 48,610 votes.
In contrast, MQM-P’s Farooq Sattar secured only 494 votes.
