Khawar Maneka, who was previously married to the wife of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, has filed a case against the former prime minister and first lady, alleging fraudulent marriage and fornication. This comes after another petitioner withdrew his plea in a similar case for technical reasons. Maneka has submitted a private complaint in the court of Islamabad East Senior Civil Judge Qudratullah, under Sections 34, 496, and 496B of the Pakistan Penal Code. The court has issued notices to witnesses and directed them to appear in court on November 28. Maneka’s complaint outlines his claims regarding the alleged fraudulent and unethical behavior of Imran and Bushra, including details of the purported nikah papers and the alleged illicit relations between them. The complaint also claims that a second nikah ceremony took place in February 2018, after reports of the initial nikah surfaced.
