Karachi: The videos of the son of DIG East showing aerial firing and displaying weapons went viral on social media, while the DIG declared the videos as edited.
On social media, the videos of DIG East Ghulam Azfar Mahesar’s son showing weapons and aerial firing went viral, with the video showing Ashar Mahesar firing. The video also shows a young man firing from a car and the DIG’s image can also be seen in the video, while the viral footage of aerial firing is under investigation.
Videos showing the DIG’s son firing in the Defense and East areas have surfaced, and after the videos came to light, there was no reaction from the East and South police.
According to sources, DIG East said that the videos and images going viral on social media are fake and edited, and propaganda is being carried out against my son. Investigation has been started regarding the videos.
DIG East Azfar Mahesar stated that he will also contact the FIA cybercrime division.
