Singer Joe Jonas, known for his involvement with the music band Jonas Brothers, took the opportunity during a recent concert in Los Angeles to address his recent divorce from ex-wife Sophie Turner.
During the Jonas Brothers’ concert at Dodgers Stadium, Joe acknowledged the speculations surrounding his divorce and refuted the rumors about Turner. He assured the crowd, “It’s been a tough week. I just wanna say, look, if you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it. Okay?”
Expressing his gratitude for the love and support he has received, Joe added, “Thank you everyone for your love and support. Me and my family love you guys.” He then continued with a heartfelt performance of his hit love song dedicated to Turner, titled “Hesitate.”
For those unaware, Sophie Turner, 27, and Joe Jonas, 34, started dating in 2016 and got married twice in 2019. However, after four years of marriage, the couple decided to separate and shared a joint statement on social media, confirming their amicable decision.
The statement read, “After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision, and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
The former couple shares two daughters, 3-year-old Willa and 1-year-old D.
