According to Express News, an official Secretariat Act court was convened at Adiala Jail for the hearing of the American Safar case in front of Judge Abul Hassanat Zulqarnain. The court saw the presence of Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi, as well as the prosecutor Zulfiqar Naqvi, government lawyers, Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s wife and daughter, ordinary citizens, and witnesses. During the Prime Minister’s tenure, criticism began against Ahad Khan, the Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, resulting in a heated environment in the court where Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi became angry and created a commotion. Due to the severity of the situation, the judge had to delay the proceedings for a while.
