Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will meet with Chief Justice of Pakistan today regarding the letters of the judges of the Islamabad High Court.
According to sources, there has been significant progress on the matter of the judges’ letters at the Islamabad High Court, and Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Faiz Isa, has sent a message to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif for a meeting in reference to the letters written by 6 judges of the Islamabad High Court.
It is said that after receiving the message from Chief Justice Faiz Isa, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will meet with his legal team today, with the meeting scheduled at 2 pm in the Supreme Court, where the Prime Minister will be accompanied by Law Minister Nazeer Tarar and Attorney General Mansoor Awan.
It is also said that the message for the meeting with the Prime Minister has been sent through Attorney General Mansoor Awan.
Law Minister Nazeer Tarar confirmed the meeting while speaking to Express News, saying that the Prime Minister will meet with Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Faiz Isa, tomorrow.
Sources say that in the meeting between the Prime Minister and the Chief Justice, the most senior judge of the Supreme Court, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, will also be present.
