Two individuals have lost their lives and multiple others have been injured as a result of an Israeli air strike on the bustling Al-Aqsa Hospital courtyard in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, as reported by Palestinian authorities. The Government Media Office in Gaza, under the control of Hamas, stated that the strike hit a tent housing displaced individuals and journalists. The Palestinian Civil Defence reported that two displaced individuals were killed and three journalists were injured in the attack. The Israeli military claimed that the strike was aimed at a command centre run by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad armed group.
