Hyderabad: More than 181 polling stations marked as ‘highly sensitive’

The final polling scheme for the national and provincial assemblies in Hyderabad has been officially issued by the ECP. There will be a total of 883 polling stations set up across the city, with 181 marked as highly sensitive, 365 as sensitive, and 337 as normal. A total of 12,25,147 voters will be participating in the general election of 2024. Additionally, the ECP has released a code of conduct for security officials who will be deployed during the upcoming general elections scheduled for February 8, 2024, binding them to perform their duties in accordance with the law and cooperate with the presiding officers, returning officers (ROs) and polling staff.
