Fear of terrorism in Adiala Jail, threatening call received for attack within three days

The administration of the Central Jail in Adiala, Rawalpindi has received a threatening call, prompting them to take action within three days. According to details, the jail administration received a threatening call from an unknown number, in which the unknown caller threatened to carry out attacks in the next three days.
After receiving the threatening call, the Rawalpindi police were informed. Authorities stated that the threatening call was made to the official number of Adiala Jail, after which the jail superintendent was informed about the threatening phone call.
A senior police officer explained that after the threatening call, the security of Adiala Central Jail has been put on high alert, and security has been increased at 8 locations around the jail, with elite forces continuously patrolling. It should be noted that important political figures, including the founder of PTI, former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, former Prime Ministers Sheikh Rasheed and Fawad Chaudhry, and former Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, are currently imprisoned in Adiala Central Jail.
