Passenger Bus Accident Results in Four Fatalities

An unfortunate incident took place today as a passenger bus traveling from Lahore to Peshawar overturned near the Rashakai interchange. The accident resulted in the loss of four lives, while 14 individuals sustained injuries.

According to rescue sources, the accident occurred due to overspeeding, causing the bus to lose control near the Rashkai Interchange. Swift response teams immediately arrived at the scene and transported the deceased and injured to nearby hospitals for initial medical treatment.

In a separate incident on the M4 motorway in Gojra, a collision between a trailer and a van took place, resulting in three fatalities and injuring four individuals.

Earlier in July, another tragic incident occurred when a passenger van plunged into a ditch in the Thalechi area, leading to six fatalities and 11 others getting injured.

The injured individuals in both incidents have been promptly shifted to hospitals for medical attention and care, ensuring that they receive the necessary treatment and support.

The initial report of the Thalechi incident mentioned four deaths and 12 injured individuals. However, the death toll increased to five after one of the injured individuals succumbed to their injuries.

Police have revealed that four women and one child lost their lives in the devastating incident at Thalechi.
