To improve traffic flow in the city, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation has decided to launch an anti-encroachment campaign. Mayor Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, announced that the campaign will initially focus on South Karachi for a week, followed by the Eastern and Central districts. The weekly campaign will commence in areas such as Saddar, Light House, MA Jinnah Road, Bolton Market, II Chundrigar Road, Numaish, Empress Market, and Khara Dar. Violators causing disruptions in traffic flow, especially those with structures, stones, and goods outside shops on the roads, will be dealt with accordingly. Mayor says that the anti-encroachment operation will be supervised by the Director Operations Imran Rajput and will continue throughout the week.
