In a recent operation, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) successfully neutralized four individuals believed to be associated with a banned organization in Balochistan. Acting on a tip-off, a CTD team raided a hideout located in Sarkhab, Pishin. Upon encountering the CTD personnel, the suspected outlaws resorted to firing, resulting in the exchange of retaliatory gunfire that led to the demise of the four alleged terrorists.

Authorities have recovered a substantial amount of arms and ammunition from the possession of these individuals, indicating that they were in the planning stages of a terror attack. At present, the identities of the deceased remain unidentified, while their bodies have been transported to the hospital for necessary legal procedures.

This successful operation comes after a similar incident on August 9, where three individuals associated with a banned outfit were apprehended by the CTD in Balochistan. In addition, the CTD had also recently conducted a raid in Bhakkar, resulting in the apprehension of two alleged terrorists from a banned organization. Law enforcement officials discovered donation receipts and banned literature during this operation.
