The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has successfully arrested three individuals involved in a series of car snatching incidents across different areas of the metropolis. These suspects were responsible for stealing vehicles and selling them within the country. Fortunately, the CTD officials were able to recover the three snatched vehicles.

Moreover, in a separate operation, the CTD has also apprehended a high-value target, Nasrullah, who was a wanted commander of the outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Karachi. The CTD in-charge, Khurram Waris, stated that Nasrullah, a key commander of TTP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), was arrested from Karachi’s Kuwari Colony. The authorities also recovered weapons from his possession.

Nasrullah was involved in serious crimes such as terrorism and terror financing. He had been accommodating his associates in Karachi and providing medical assistance to the wounded members of the organization. Additionally, he played a significant role in fundraising for the banned organization and transferring funds to Afghanistan.

It is worth mentioning that Nasrullah’s brother and a close relative were also revealed to be involved in terrorist activities. The CTD is actively working to further investigate their connections and bring them to justice.
