Chairman reports NAB’s recovery of Rs2.3 trillion and $10 billion in savings

NAB Chairman Lt Gen (retd) Nazir Ahmed announced that the bureau has recovered Rs2.3 trillion and saved over $10 billion for the national exchequer. He stressed the need for collective efforts to combat corruption and reaffirmed NAB’s commitment to holding corrupt individuals accountable. The event also featured guest speakers including economist Dr Ashfaque Hasan Khan and UNODC Pakistan Country Representative Jermey Milsom. NAB officers were honored for their exceptional performance, and the importance of observing Anti-Corruption Day was highlighted. Additionally, Dr Ashfaque Hassan Khan emphasized the importance of citizens getting registered in the taxation system to access welfare benefits from the State.
