Caretaker PM Pledges to Address Challenges Faced by Balochistan

The caretaker prime minister is determined to tackle the issues plaguing Balochistan, as he expressed in his address during a reception organized by the All Parties Conference. The event, held in his hometown of Kan Mehtarzai, witnessed the participation of various political leaders, tribal elders, scholars, journalists, farmers, lawyers, and students.

PM Anwaarul Haq highlighted the government’s commitment to generate employment opportunities, ensure peace and security, and accelerate the development process in Kan Mehtarzai, Killa Saifullah, and other areas of Balochistan. He emphasized the need to uplift these areas and eliminate backwardness.

Local figures expressed their confidence in Anwaar ul Haq Kakar as the caretaker Prime Minister, trusting that he will play a pivotal role in eradicating terrorism, conducting transparent elections, and restoring law and order in the country.

Anwarul Haq Kakar was sworn in as the caretaker prime minister of Pakistan in a ceremony at the President House, with President Dr. Arif Alvi administering the oath. The event was attended by various political figures, including outgoing prime minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani, governors, caretaker chief ministers, and top military officials.

Introducing Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar

Anwar ul Haq Kakar is a prominent political figure from Balochistan and a member of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP). Elected to the Senate in 2018, Kakar actively represents Balochistan and serves as the parliamentary leader for the BAP in the Senate.

Kakar has also held significant roles, such as chairing the Senate Standing Committee on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, and serving as a member of the Business Advisory Committee, Finance and Revenue, Foreign Affairs, and Science and Technology.
