Quetta: The Baluchistan government has responded to rumors of imposing barriers around the city of Gwadar.
In a statement issued by a spokesperson for the Baluchistan government, it has been stated that there is no truth to the baseless rumors of imposing barriers around the city of Gwadar, and claims made by a former MPA and an organization are unfounded.
The spokesperson for the Baluchistan government stated that decisions regarding Gwadar and most areas of Makran are made in consultation with elected representatives, with Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman being part of the MPAs’ meetings regarding decisions made about Gwadar.
The Baluchistan government spokesperson further stated that Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman is trusted in decisions made regarding Gwadar.
