America secures victory against Bangladesh in T20 series.


Photo AAPN Houston: The American cricket team made history by winning the T20 series against Bangladesh. In the second match of the three T20 series played in Houston, the host team achieved victory by 6 runs, as Bangladesh’s team was bowled out for 138 before chasing a target of 145 runs.
America scored 144 runs for the loss of 6 wickets while batting first, with captain Monank Patel playing a brilliant innings of 42 runs, and Irn Jones and Steven Taylor contributing 35 and 31 runs respectively.
Bangladesh’s bowlers, Arshad Hussain, Mustafizur Rahman, and Shariful Islam, each took two wickets.
In pursuit of the target, the Bangladesh team was bowled out for 138 runs on the last ball of the final over, with captain Nazmul Hussain scoring 36 runs and Shakib Al Hasan scoring 30 runs. American bowler Ali Khan took three wickets, while Surab and Shadley took two wickets each.
