Lahore: Former all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has become part of the PCB selection committee, with an announcement expected soon.
According to sources, Abdul Razzaq met with PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani after a call from Chief Selector Waqar Younis. During the meeting, he was offered a role in assisting in the improvement of cricket, which he accepted.
Abdul Razzaq also had a discussion with Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer, and he will utilize his experience to enhance the performance of young players in the selection committee. Those close to Abdul Razzaq have confirmed his association with the PCB.
The board officials are also trying to engage with other former cricketers to work with them.
