An incredible incident occurred at the Ritz in Paris when a diamond ring worth over $800,000 went missing from a Malaysian businesswoman’s hotel room and was later found in a vacuum cleaner bag.

The woman reported the disappearance to the Paris police, suspecting a hotel employee had taken it. Ritz employees conducted a search and ultimately found the ring in a vacuum cleaner used by the cleaning staff, according to hotel officials.

The ring is in police custody until the woman, who left for London, can return to claim it. In a separate but equally remarkable event, a viral video showed a chaotic scene in Surat, India, as people gathered to search for diamonds rumored to have been dropped on the road. The chaos prompted a widespread search, with some individuals even collecting street dust in their pursuit of the precious stones.
