Iran’s second airline begins flight operations in Pakistan

Karachi: The good news for the national aviation industry is that Iran’s second airline, Taban Air, has also started flight operations in Pakistan.
According to details, Taban Airline’s first flight will depart from Karachi to Mashhad today. The opening and inauguration of the first flight will be done by Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, who will also travel to Mashhad himself.
In addition, Iranian Consul General Hassan Nurani also traveled to Mashhad on the first inaugural flight.
The inauguration ceremony of Taban Airline’s inaugural flight took place at Karachi Airport, where Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Iranian Consul General were present as special guests, and cake was also cut on the occasion. Officials from the Civil Aviation Authority and ASF were also present at the event.
In addition to Governor Sindh, more than 80 passengers traveled on the first flight. Taban Air will initially operate one flight per week, which will be increased further.
The flight from Karachi to Mashhad by Taban Air will depart every Tuesday at 11 pm, while the flight from Mashhad to Karachi will depart at 6 pm according to Iranian time.
Aviation authorities say that another international airline starting flight operations in Pakistan will create new job opportunities. After Iran Air, Taban Air is the second airline to start flight operations in Pakistan.
