The explosion caused significant damage to the road above the drain, with SHO Haider describing it as huge. The incident took place when people were gathering for Friday prayers, and the number of injuries could have been much higher, reaching up to 200 to 300 due to the busy commercial nature of the area.

Furthermore, two vehicles, including a car, were damaged during the blast. However, the shops in the vicinity did not experience significant losses.

In conclusion, investigations are underway to determine the cause of the explosion that left eight individuals injured in Lasbela Chowk, Karachi. Authorities are eagerly awaiting the bomb experts’ final report to shed light on this unfortunate incident.
