All 23 accused have pleaded not guilty to the charges filed against them.

The court has summoned prosecution witnesses for the next hearing of the case and has adjourned the case until December 04.

According to the police chargesheet, the accused blocked the main Ghilanai road in Mohmand, disrupting all traffic on May 09.

The police chargesheet also states that the accused delivered hate speeches against security forces and national institutions.

A case has been registered against the accused at Ghilanai police station.

Violent clashes erupted across Pakistan after the arrest of the former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief at the Islamabad High Court on May 09.

Protests took place in both remote and major cities, as party workers were agitated by their leader’s arrest, leading Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad to call on the armed forces to maintain law and order.

During the protest by PTI workers, army installations and the Corps Commander’s house in Lahore came under attack.
