Reporters will be granted 7-marla residential plots and cameramen and photographers will be granted 3-marla residential plots. The eligibility advertisement for acquiring the plot will be advertised on Monday, January 22. Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) will inform the journalists community about the mode for acquiring the plots. The Chief Minister acknowledged the challenges faced by journalists and stated that providing residence for journalists is a major issue. He assured the journalists that their demand for substantial welfare measures had been fulfilled, acknowledging their low-profile lifestyle and financial struggles.
