Pune: An 11-year-old boy in India was killed when he was hit in a delicate area while playing cricket. According to Indian media reports, Shambhu Kali Das, an 11-year-old student of the sixth grade, was playing cricket with his siblings at a local club in Pune when a powerful shot played by the batsman directly hit his delicate area, causing him to collapse in pain.
A video circulating on social media shows Shambhu bowling when a powerful shot from the batsman lands directly on his sensitive area.
Upon being hit, Shambhu falls to the ground in pain, and his friends rush to his aid. He was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The police have stated that the exact cause of death will be revealed after the post-mortem report is released, but a case has been registered regarding the accidental death of the boy.
