Oslo: Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide has said that the situation in Gaza due to Israeli bombing is no less than hell on earth.
In an interview with Arab TV in Oslo, the Norwegian Foreign Minister said that it seems that the United Nations Security Council has been paralyzed since the Israeli aggression that began on October 7.
The Norwegian Foreign Minister supported the idea that Palestinian institutions should have complete sovereignty over their territories and Israel should withdraw from illegal occupations.
The Norwegian Foreign Minister said that despite more than 3 months of aggression, Israel has not been successful in achieving a single military target in Gaza.
Expressing concern over attacks on commercial ships crossing the Red Sea, the Norwegian Foreign Minister said that they are ready to work as a mediator to unfreeze specially designated tax funds for the Palestinian Authority.
It should be noted that Norway is part of international efforts to form a broad Palestinian alliance, in which the goal of Western countries is to give the Palestinian Authority a key role.
