Karachi: Punjab’s newly elected Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz called cricketer Mohammad Amir to gather information about the incident at Multan Stadium.
National cricketer Mohammad Amir shared in a post on the social media platform X that Maryam Nawaz took notice of the incident happening at the stadium with his family and took out her valuable time to call me, for which I am grateful.
Mohammad Amir wrote, “The Deputy Commissioner of Multan has also personally resolved all my misunderstandings. I appreciate your efforts and my good wishes are with you on your new journey.”
It is worth noting that earlier, Mohammad Amir had demanded action from Maryam Nawaz after accusing the Deputy Commissioner of Multan of misbehavior with his family during a match.
In his post, Mohammad Amir wrote that the Deputy Commissioner of Multan falsely claimed ownership of the ground in a haughty manner, and during the match, he was unfairly ejected from the premises, the misuse of power in uniform is intolerable.
